One of my happiest moments in life is when Lara came into this world.
And we were sorrow-stricken to learn she has cerebral palsy.
But whatever hand life has dealt me, you, God, taught me to say
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

But no matter what Satan might do to misguide me, no matter how bad this trial will be,
I will lean on these promises: That Christ knows my tears and my fears
And He died for me.

Because all my sins-(this is wonderful!)
All my problems, not just some of them, but all of them-
They are nailed to the cross, and I am free!!
Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord, O my soul!!

God! Come soon and know that I have been faithful
You will erase all our trials, you will take away Lara's CP
Music will play, and you will come to us.
But until then, even so, it is well with my soul!!
