So, what's happening right now is a lot of packing and painting. Our garage is filling up with boxes of stuff I can make do without for a bit. Family pictures have come down off the walls and little knick-knacks are being put away. Furniture is being rearranged, and there is actually room on top of my refrigerator. We're hoping to finish up our painting projects on Claire's birthday (the 29th), and have the house on the market soon after that.
Homer is about 20 miles east of Champaign/Urbana. All of Dustin's extended family, and some immediate, live in this area. The Country House itself is about a mile out of Homer, and once you hit it, if you keep going east through the country, after about 10 miles, you will come upon the area where my parents live.
Many have asked about Dustin's job, and for now that's a wait-and-see until we get an idea of when we are moving. Yes, he will no longer work 3rd shift at State Farm (praise God!!). We have connections, and there is a least one job that Dustin's fairly well-guaranteed once we move in. These are not "career" jobs, per se, but you must understand that Dustin has no desire to be a part of a corporate-career-type job. Dustin has always sort of wanted to do his own thing, his own work....Dustin will be doing bee work on our 4 acres of land as well as a job in the Champaign area for a time.
I will continue with my photography, and I hope VERY much to open a preschool class for 4 year olds.
Yes, we will be leaving Crosswinds. But hope to return once a month for the Kidstuf events.
Lara will receive PT services in Champaign or Danville. Lara is being home-schooled, so the school systems are of no concern for us. :)

SUCH a great spot! I've missed this house (when looking for it) many times because you can hardly see it through the trees.
