With the MRI. We are still waiting. I called today because I was told we should know something by today. But the office is closed due to the holiday. So hopefully tomorrow we will know something. I told some friends that I am not worried about the results, though it might be briefly scary as we discuss the problems in her brain. But then I will just turn around and look at Lara, who is so happy, and so healthy, and so very silly, and very smart (it's what every mom says, right?), and I will be reminded that it is well in my soul!! Don't worry, I'll post as soon as we know anything.
Today, Dustin took me out of the house, because I have been bored. We bought books, our favorite! Lara got 2 books and a sound puzzle (an idea we got from Lara's friend Reece). Lara managed to do a little ripping in one of the books before we even paid for it!! Thank goodness for tape.
We also bought Lara a new toy to help stretch her muscles and work her trunk muscles and arms at the same time. The muscles that are especially tight are her inner thighs. We need to do exercises that involve stretching open her legs to help them relax a little. I am hoping this toy will help. She can sit fine on her push toy, but it doesn't do anything fun like rock back and forth.
