Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to you from the Copass Family!!

We embark on a week-long adventure tomorrow to Virginia Beach. We'll arrive home on the 1st of Jan.

So today we stayed at home. Lara is really sick now, while Claire is much better. It was good for us to stay indoors at home! I stayed busy wiping snotty noses, packing, and making bread! Dustin surprised me with a bread machine, some special ingredients for making bread, and a bread machine cookbook for Christmas. I couldn't wait to get started. But after flipping through pages of recipes, I could not find one I could do because we are really low on food right now, and I didn't have all the ingredients needed for the recipes. I managed to find one I could do-beer bread. Yes, we don't have food, but at least we have beer! I actually have been blessed with a great distaste of all things alcohol, so I didn't consider it super tasty bread, but it was fun making it.
Poor Lara! She has felt just awful the last couple of days. Coughing, sneezing, all of that. See?
But she still had fun today. She got two dresses today, and in Lara's world, dresses are delightful things. This one below was made by Grandma!
Claire is a natural at opening Christmas presents...and then eating the paper. I'll post a video of that later.

Summer Start

Dustin and I planted tomato plants last night.  The evening was stunningly beautiful. Granted I had to put on a sweatshirt, but it was on...
