We love sunshiny days!!

Well, last week was one busy, busy week, my friends. But it was all fun. Grandma & Pepaw over on Easter, a trip to the specialist on Monday, Nana & Papa's on Tuesday, playdate to the children's museum on Friday, Grandma Bev's on Saturday, and my niece over Saturday night and Sunday! I enjoy those busy weeks that are just more fun and not full of running errands.

Lara's legs have been causing her some problems. I've spoken with the therapist about it a lot, and she tells me children with CP, because they move tightly and unnaturally, are more prone to pulling or straining muscles, so they will go through bouts of leg pain. It doesn't seem to really bother her (which says something, considering Lara has zero pain tolerance), so I've not done anything about it yet. This has happened before, and she just gets better on her own.
Today, Lara did her chores, colored, played Candy Land, read a book, and cleaned up her toys. She's in a good mood today.

(This is Lara's friend, Kennedy.)
Claire is getting pretty close to figuring out how to crawl. Lara tries to help her by saying, "Ok, Claire, let's have some crawling time! Watch me do it!" I had to update Claire's wardrobe the other day. I'm glad I saved all of Lara's stuff. Claire fits into it perfectly. Lara was 18 months in the spring/summer, and Claire is currently just going in to 18mo clothing, so it's worked out great.

Claire has started clapping too, so that's cute. And she will hand you something if you hold your hand out. It's just instinct for her to do that, because once she realizes she just gave away her toy, she'll get mad and scream. :)

Wal-mart! I like these softer ones. The large, plastic ones, IMO, are too uncomfortable.

Summer Start

Dustin and I planted tomato plants last night.  The evening was stunningly beautiful. Granted I had to put on a sweatshirt, but it was on...
