So that little boy I was telling you about, Jude is his name...he had a bad case of pneumonia...

After two failed attempts at thoracentesis, it was determined that the fluid around his lungs had hardened. By this time, Jude had been put under general anesthesia two days in a row. It was determined that surgery would be the best option, and it was scheduled for Friday (yesterday).

JuJu came home from the hospital yesterday instead. After more testing, the doctor was surprised to find that the fluid had shrunk in size "beyond belief." The surgeon said this normally takes MONTHS, but with Jude, it was a matter of hours. Surgery was cancelled, appropriate antibiotics administered, and after a fever-free 24 hours, Jude went home.

Jude's mommy quoted it best:

I Kings 17:22 "The LORD heard Elijah's cry, and the boy's life returned to him, and he lived." Psalm 116:1 "I love the LORD, for he heard [our] voice; he heard [our] cry for mercy."
