My LAST EVER post.

....from good ole Atlanta!

We are officially moving back to Homer tomorrow evening. I am excited about this change. I'm looking forward to this change, but certainly hope we don't drive Dustin's parents up the wall! Both of our daughters are pretty obsessed with their grandparents. Maybe living with them for about a month will help them calm down a little. ;)

I've been feeling exhausted for the last couple weeks. I will be so grateful for that day when we finally settle into our own home and Dustin can stop working at State Farm. We are starting a business, and with that, there needs to be time, transition, and risk.

But that exhaustion also comes from dealing with sick children for the last week and a constant stream of work that has to be done. In fact, it is crazy to think of everything we still need to pack up tomorrow.

We had a really nice Easter today. My mom and little brother came over for lunch and an Easter egg hunt. It was also our last Sunday at Crosswinds, our home church for the last 6 years. It has been almost 6 years exactly since we started calling C3 our church and becoming involved there. I won't call it luck that we found such a great church that helped us grow so much. There were no tears today; it doesn't feel like we are really leaving as we will not be that far away and will certainly return for visits. I am so glad C3 occupied a space in my life, but there is a clear feeling that it is time to move on to something else.

Lara is excited to move to Homer, but she has voiced concern over missing her friends. We assure her she will still see them from time to time and that there are many wonderful friends waiting for us in Homer...we hope. ;) She is also excited about swimming. As a pre-move [to the country house] gift, my parents got our family a membership to the Danville Y (exactly 30 minutes from Homer), and paid the first 3 months' monthly fees. This is a nice Y, with tons of classes and free childcare provided. They also have open family swim times, so we are looking forward to getting involved with that as soon as we can! Lara just got a new bathing suit, which is PERFECT for her; I will show you a picture next round.

Lara will have her first therapy session with her new therapist on Tuesday in Champaign at Carl Clinic (Sports medicine, not the hospital). Her last session with Gretchen will be on Friday. I've also got the new pediatrician lined up, since Claire will need her 2yr appointment next month.

I had intended to write more, but it is late, and we have a big day tomorrow. Please be praying for our move!! Goodnight!

Summer Start

Dustin and I planted tomato plants last night.  The evening was stunningly beautiful. Granted I had to put on a sweatshirt, but it was on...
